Found out most dishwasher leaks come from one tiny part

Was servicing a 3 year old Samsung dishwasher last week in a condo downtown. Customer was sure the pump was shot because water was pooling under the unit. I was about to order a new pump assembly until I actually read the service manual closer. Turns out like 80 percent of leaks on these models come from the rubber grommet on the drain hose connection. Cost me like 4 bucks for a new one at a parts supplier and the thing works perfect now. I've been in this trade for about 7 years and I always assumed it was a bigger issue. Now I check that grommet first before touching anything else. Anyone else find a super common fix they overlooked for way too long?

Try blaming the part that costs 4 bucks instead of the 200 dollar pump.
