I always thought those $40 thermal fuses were a waste of money for dryers.

Had a Kenmore from 2015 that kept tripping the old one every six months, so I finally swapped in a high-temp one from a supply house in Tacoma. It's been a full year now with zero callbacks, which never happened before. What's the longest you've seen a cheap fuse last compared to the good ones?
