Old trick for unsticking a stuck washing machine pump impeller

Used to bang on it with a screwdriver handle but now I spray a little PB Blaster on the shaft and let it sit 5 minutes, after a landlord last Tuesday showed me that trick and I've saved 20 minutes per call since, anyone else got a better method for these Frigidaire pumps?

Nah, just replace the pump, time wasted messing with it.

Depends on the pump. Some of those cheap inline pumps you can just swap the cartridge in five minutes and save yourself fifty bucks. I've had good luck with a couple of rebuilds on older Grundfos units too, just a new capacitor and seals. Full replacement makes sense if the housing is cracked or you're already dealing with a weird flange size, but not every little hiccup needs a whole new unit. Might just be my luck running older gear though.
