PSA: Picking between a multimeter and a non-contact voltage tester for my van, and the cheap one saved me a call-back
Last week I had to pick one tool to keep in my van for quick checks on dryers, and I went with a $22 non-contact voltage tester over my old multimeter. It paid off on a call in Albany when I found a live wire behind a dryer that a homeowner swore was dead, and I didn't have to pull out leads in a tight spot. Curious if you all keep a tester on your belt or still trust the meter for everything.
