Stopped by that big box store on Route 9 for parts yesterday

Walked in for a $12 dryer belt and walked out after 20 minutes of nobody staffing the appliance parts counter. Has anyone else just given up on getting help at those places?

Just find the part number online and order it yourself, saves a ton of hassle.

@ericj45 Right? I did that last week for a dryer belt and had it in two days, way easier than dealing with a shop.

And honestly, finding the part number online is the smartest move because I've noticed those stores don't even stock half the belts anymore. The last time I waited around, the guy finally showed up and said they'd have to order it anyway for twice the price. So now I just bookmark the parts diagrams on my phone when I start a repair, saves me the gas money and the headache of standing there watching nobody show up.
