That one time a loose wire nut cost me two hours on a dryer call
Got a call for a dryer not heating, checked the usual suspects, and everything tested fine until I finally spotted a single loose wire nut on the high-limit circuit. I spent a solid 120 minutes on a five-minute fix because it was tucked behind a panel brace. Anyone else ever lose a chunk of the morning to something that simple?

Honestly, I see that time differently. Those two hours weren't lost, they were how you earned the fix. You ruled everything else out methodically. Finding the simple thing last is just part of the job.

Been there. Last week I spent an hour on a weird bug, turned out I just needed to restart a service. Felt dumb, but that's the process. You gotta check the complex stuff first to be sure.
