Wiring harnesses used to take me 20 minutes, now about 4

I used to trace every single wire by hand with a multimeter and a printed schematic, which ate up almost a third of my service call time on washer repairs. Then I started taking a quick photo of the harness before I touch anything and comparing it against the factory diagram on my phone. Last week I swapped a control board on a Samsung in a condo downtown in 15 minutes flat because I snapped the before picture and labeled the connectors with a paint pen. Now I do that for every machine, even the cheap ones, and it's cut my average diagnostic time from 45 minutes to under 25. Do you guys bother with photos on every job or just when something looks complicated? I'm thinking about making a little laminated cheat sheet for the common models I see daily.

Cheat sheet is gold, do it. Saves even more time later.
