Oh man, I feel that! My whole mental image was just a bunch of rich Anasazi in fancy robes.

I read this article last year that said some Anasazi sites had way more turquoise than others, like over 50,000 pieces at Pueblo Bonito. It makes you wonder if it was more like a trade hub than just a village. That kind of changes the picture from everyone being equal. I get what @josepha32 means about the fancy robes, lol. It's harder to picture a simple, peaceful society when you find evidence of big differences in wealth and power.
