I was sure the 'lost city' in the Honduran jungle was just a story.

Read about it in a magazine back in 2015. Sounded like a legend. Then the team from National Geographic went in with lidar. The scans showed clear outlines of plazas and pyramids under the canopy. They did a ground survey and found stone sculptures. Hard proof changed my mind. Anyone else have an example where the evidence totally flipped your view?

My friend swore the moon landing was faked, until he saw the laser reflectors.

Isn't that how it goes? People just need to see something real to stop doubting everything.

Yeah, I heard a scientist on the radio say the reflectors proved it once and for all.
