Can we talk about how I used to answer every ask anything with a novel, but now I just give the short version?

Does anybody else feel like they started giving short answers just to save their own sanity from re-reading the same long rambling posts later? I used to write paragraphs about movies too, but now I just say "good action scenes and the villain makes sense" and move on. Speed over detail has become my whole online personality now.

I read somewhere that the average attention span has gotten way shorter over the last decade, and honestly that tracks with how I post now. Used to think I had to explain every little detail like I was writing a guide, but most people just want the quick take. For example I used to type out three paragraphs about why I like a certain show, now I just say 'the acting is good and the plot moves fast'. Your mileage may vary but I think we all just got tired of typing so much.
