I dropped $150 on a fancy keyword tool for my blog and now I'm not sure if it was worth it.

I mean, it gave me a ton of data, but idk if I'm actually using it right or if I just wasted money that could've gone to better hosting, so has anyone else felt burned by a tool that promised to help but just made things more confusing?

Ugh, totally! It felt like getting hit with a phone book. Remember those? What did you end up using instead?

Actually got a funny story about phone books, drew_reed62. My grandma used hers to boost my little cousin up at the kitchen table. Thing was so thick it worked perfectly. Kinda miss that simple fix now that everything's a ten-step tutorial online. Ended up just using a couple of old cookbooks stacked together. Not the same vibe at all, but it did the job.
