I finally admitted the $89 I spent on a "DIY will kit" in 2019 was a total waste
The software locked me out after one login and the printout still had a big red watermark across every page, so last month I paid a real lawyer in Bakersfield $600 to do it right, and now I'm wondering if anyone else has been burned by those cheap legal templates that promise everything and deliver a PDF you can't even file.

Wanna know what actually works? Legal aid clinics, way cheaper than $600.
