I used to swear by paper calendars until I missed 3 appointments in one month

I had this big paper planner on my desk for years. Thought it was the only way to really see my month at a glance. Then I missed a dentist appointment, a follow up with my own doctor, and my kid's parent teacher conference all in the same month. My wife finally sat me down and showed me her Google Calendar with color coded alerts. I felt like an idiot but I switched that week and now I get notifications 24 hours before everything. Has anyone else had a system fail them that badly before they switched?

Haha that "I told you so" look is real lol. I read somewhere that paper planners fail for most people because they dont have auto reminders, just a static schedule.

Did your wife give you the "I told you so" look too? My best friend's husband finally caved after he missed his own birthday dinner his mom planned lol.
