Just learned that your brain keeps working for up to 10 minutes after death

I was reading a science article last night and found out that brain activity can continue for 5 to 10 minutes after the heart stops. They measured it in some patients with EEG monitors. Has anyone else come across this and found it creepy or weird?

Yeah but think about it. That's probably just brain death spasms, not actual thinking.
