my bike chain snapped 2 miles from home in the rain, what would you have done?
I was halfway to the grocery store on Saturday when the chain just gave out, so I walked it back in the drizzle with one hand steering. Do you carry a quick link or just call someone when that happens?

Broke a pedal arm years back and had to coast a mile standing on one leg like a fool. Now I keep a little tool pouch on the frame, though half the time I still forget it exists.
