That line about going "from total garbage to readable in 3 weeks" reminds me of when I tried to fix my own chicken scratch back in high school. I bought one of those grip things you slide on a pencil and used it for maybe four days before it ended up lost in my backpack. Still can't write a straight line to this day, so maybe the pen actually matters more than I want to admit.
