My neighbor changed my mind about lawn care in 10 minutes
I used to think anyone who spent money on their lawn was wasting time and cash. But last spring, my neighbor across the street spent a Saturday afternoon showing me how he aerates his yard with a $40 hand tool and seeds spots by hand. He said it only takes him 2 hours a month once it's established. Now I'm actually looking forward to fixing my bare patches this fall. Anyone else have a neighbor who got them into something they swore they'd never do?

Man, it's just grass. Like, you mow it and it grows back. Is it really worth planning your whole month around?
