Pro tip: A client in Austin told me my 'ask anything' approach was too vague, so now I start every session with a specific example question like 'What's the best way to frame a question about a noisy furnace?' to get better answers.
Has anyone else found that giving a concrete example first helps people ask clearer questions in your own groups?

Works great (until they only ask about noisy furnaces).

The forum last week had 27 posts just about furnace noise, all from the same guy.

So you get a call about a noisy furnace, what do you do first? I always ask if they can tell WHERE the noise is coming from, like a bang or a squeal. That tells you if it's a duct issue or something inside the unit. If it's a squeal, I tell them to check if the blower wheel is dirty, because that's a super common fix. But if it's a deep bang, that's a whole other problem that might need a pro. You gotta sort that out right away or you'll waste a trip.
