Question about asking for help on forums
I always figured posting questions online was a waste of time because you'd just get bad advice, but after my sink clogged in my Phoenix apartment, a guy on a plumbing forum told me to use a specific $15 auger from the hardware store and it worked perfectly in 10 minutes. What's something you were totally wrong about that a random internet stranger proved right?

That Phoenix hardware store auger saved my whole weekend.

That thing is a beast, I nearly took out my own fence post learning how to steer it. Guess I'm better with a mop than heavy machinery. Still got the job done though.

I always thought you had to pay a pro for car stuff, but some guy on a forum walked me through fixing my own starter. I mean, @phoenix_grant34 is right, sometimes the internet just comes through.
