That stat about how many people delete posts within 10 minutes blew my mind

I read on some forum analysis site that over 40% of posts in Q&A threads get deleted by the user within 10 minutes of posting, and I can't stop wondering who's out there second-guessing themselves that fast.

Gotta push back on that 40% number, honestly feels way too high. I've been on forums for years and rarely see posts vanish that fast unless it's someone who posted a link wrong or accidentally doxxed themselves. Maybe the stat counts bots or spam accounts that get auto-deleted, not real people.

And what about the shadowban thing nobody mentions? I've seen it where posts go up and only the person who posted can see them, feels like deletion from everyone else's view. That 40% might be counting those invisible posts nobody can interact with.

Oh man @ninas67, I actually had a buddy post a giveaway code for a game a few months ago and he swore it was up but nobody could see it til a mod told him it was flagged as spam or something, lol. So yeah that shadowban stuff is real sneaky sometimes.
