The way I used to look up car repairs back in 2005 vs. now

Wait, am I the only one who actually thinks the old way was way harder? Back in 2005 you had to sift through a bunch of crappy forum threads and hope some random guy's fix for his 1998 Honda Civic matched your 2002 model. Half the time the pictures were dead links or the advice was just straight up wrong, like telling you to use brake fluid on a stuck bolt. Now you can watch a 10 minute video from a real mechanic showing every step with a clear camera angle. I’ll take modern YouTube tutorials over squinting at a blurry JPG of a handwritten diagram any day.

Is it really that big of a deal, though? I mean, yeah dead pics suck but back then you also didn't have to sit through a 10 minute video just to figure out one bolt either. Your mileage may vary, but I still find written stuff way faster to skim through.
