Why does everyone ask for advice but then ignore the first 3 replies?

I spend a lot of time in Q&A boards and I noticed people post a detailed issue, get solid answers within an hour, then come back two days later asking the same thing again. Last week someone asked about fixing a squeaky floor, got 5 clear solutions, then posted a video of the same squeak without trying any of them. Does this frustrate anyone else or am I just expecting too much effort from strangers?

Honestly used to think people just wanted validation, but yeah, that post changed my mind completely.
