Just hit 500 hours on my backyard telescope mount and it feels wild
I was checking the logs on my Sky-Watcher mount last night and the total run time was 500.3 hours. That's over twenty full days of tracking stars since I got it two years ago. It made me realize how much quiet time I've spent out there, just watching the sky move. Has anyone else been surprised by a number from their gear that made them stop and think?

That "quiet time" you mentioned really sticks with me. It feels like we're all so busy tracking our screen time, but we never log the hours spent on something real. Makes you wonder what other numbers from our hobbies would tell a true story.

But tracking hobbies could just turn them into another chore, stripping away the joy of doing something just for fun.
