My brother said my star photos all looked the same
He pointed out I was always just pointing my camera straight up at the sky. I tried framing the Orion Nebula with some pine trees from my backyard last night, and it added so much more feeling. Anyone have other ideas for interesting foregrounds?

Disagree with the barn idea. Man made stuff feels wrong next to the stars. Look for natural lines, like a river bend pointing at the sky or a single big rock on a hill. It keeps the lonely feeling of space.
