My telescope lens got a pepperoni grease stain during last night's shoot
I was trying to take a long exposure of Orion while balancing a slice of pizza on my knee. The cheese slid off and landed right on the front of my telescope lens. Spent twenty minutes wiping it with a microfiber cloth, but now every star looks slightly smeared with olive oil. Still got a decent shot of Betelgeuse, though!

So you got pizza grease on your lens, huh? I once tried to eat nachos while adjusting my tripod and ended up with cheese dust all over my eyepiece. Now every nebula looks like it's covered in orange glitter. Took me ages to clean it, and I still see specks when I look at Jupiter.

Hey @nathan_lopez69, a microfiber cloth with lens cleaner fixed my greasy mess pretty well.

That orange glitter nebula sounds kind of cool though... I feel like @wendy628 has the right idea, just a quick wipe fixes most things. It's just a little grease, not a disaster.
