Stacked 200 moon photos and got a surprise I didn't expect
Been shooting the moon for a while now, mostly just single shots with my DSLR. Last month I finally tried stacking software after watching a tutorial. Took 200 frames from my backyard in Austin, nothing special, just a regular night. The result came out sharper than I ever got before, but what surprised me was the color. There was this faint blue tint along the edges that I never noticed in any single frame. Turns out it's a thing called chromatic aberration or something, but the software corrected it and brought out this subtle warmth. Made me wonder how many details we miss when we don't take the time to process things properly. Has anyone else had a photo surprise them after learning a new technique?
