That one photo from my back porch made me see the city lights differently

Was killing time waiting for my coffee to cool last Tuesday and zoomed into a random shot I took of downtown Nashville. All those dots are individual windows of people living their own lives, just like I was standing there looking up at them. Anyone else ever get that weird feeling from a simple wide-angle photo?

Honestly I think you're reading way too much into it. Those dots are just lights, you don't actually know anything about those people, most of them are probably just watching Netflix or arguing about chores like everyone else. It's like being moved by a random pixel pattern, the magic is all in your head, not the photo.
