Ha! Mine looked like a fuzzy potato with a halo.

Riley you're being generous calling it a potato. Mine was more like a glowing thumbprint smeared across the sensor. Between the cold air, light pollution, and my shaky tripod I'm surprised I got anything at all. Space photography is basically 90% frustration and 10% pure luck.

Friend of mine once set up his whole rig in the backyard, got everything perfect, then realized his neighbor's motion-activated floodlight was going off every 30 seconds. He ended up with a single bright frame of the moon and 47 photos of his neighbor's fence. Sometimes the universe just doesn't want you to get that shot, you know?
