Wrote off phone astrophotography for 2 years, then my buddy in Tucson sent me his Andromeda shot
I figured phone cameras were a joke for deep sky stuff until he showed me 40 stacked 10 second shots he took from his driveway with a $30 tripod mount. The dust lanes were actually there. Anyone else get surprised by what a phone can pull off with enough subs?
