Little old lady taught me a lesson about clear coat at a gas station
I was filling up at a Shell in Akron last Tuesday and this 70-something woman in a beat up Corolla rolls down her window. She asks me if I do body work looking at my hands and shirt. Told her yeah, and she pointed at this 3 inch scratch on her door that went down to the metal. She said her grandson told her to just use touch up paint but she knew better. I ended up buffing it out with some compound I had in the truck for free, took maybe 10 minutes. She gave me a $20 and said real craftsmanship is dying. Any of you guys ever had a random stranger spot you as a body guy out in the wild?
