Rant: Does anyone else's best days and worst days look identical on paper?

Last Tuesday I had a 2017 Silverado come in for a bedside replacement... looked like a clean job on the estimate, 4 hours book time. I got it done in 3.5 and the paint matched perfect, customer was thrilled. Then Thursday I pulled in a 2020 Civic with a simple bumper scuff and it turned into a nightmare - the clips were all broken, the reinforcement bar was bent underneath, and I burned 6 hours on what should have been a 2 hour job. Two days that looked the same on the work order but went totally different. Has anyone else had a week where the jobs you thought would be easy kicked your tail and the hard ones went smooth? Or is it just me?

That "the jobs you thought would be easy kicked your tail" line hit a little too close to home. I'm starting to think my car knows when I'm feeling confident and decides to humble me real quick.

Honestly dont think its that deep. Cars break. Sometimes you get lucky sometimes you dont. Just bad timing not some cosmic joke.
