Shoutout to the old timer who showed me taping edges with my fingers instead of a plastic card

Used to burn 20 minutes per door jamb fighting a squeegee card and still get bleed under the tape. Switched to pressing the tape down with my thumbs after watching Ray do it at the shop in Flint back in March, and my pull lines got crisp the first try. Curious if anyone else here tapes by hand or if I'm just late to this.
