Spent $260 on a cheap stud welder and burned a hole through a customer's quarter panel
Bought one of those no-name stud welders off a tool truck in Gary last month to save cash, and on my third pull it blew through the metal on a 2016 Civic quarter. Ended up eating $400 in panel work and losing the whole Saturday fixing my own mess. What's the cheapest welder you guys trust that won't do this again?
