That harbor freight stud welder I laughed at actually saved my ass
Picked up one of those cheap spot weld dent pullers last year just to test it on a beater fender. Figured it would crap out after 2 pulls but I got 47 dents out of a 2010 Civic door before the tip gave up. Has anyone else had better luck with budget tools than they expected?

Man that little red punch set is an absolute beast for the money, I don't know how they do it.

Wait, I gotta jump in here. You're calling it Pittsburgh but that red punch set is from Capri Tools, not Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is Harbor Freight's house brand, and yeah, some of their stuff is solid for the price, but the red 4-piece set with the rubber handle is definitely Capri. Easy mix up since both have that same "budget but decent" vibe going on. The Capri set is a little pricier than the Pittsburgh stuff but the pins are way less likely to bend on you if you're really cranking on something. I've got a set in my toolbox and it's held up fine for a few years now, no complaints. Just didn't want you hunting for it at HF thinking it's a Pittsburgh thing.
