The 3M dust mask habit that kept me out of the ER
After a week of grinding filler without swapping my mask cartridges, I ended up with a sinus infection that put me down for 4 days in Tampa. Changed them every 3 hours during heavy sanding now, and the difference in how my lungs feel after a long day is unreal. Anyone else track their cartridge hours or am I the only one who pushed it too far?

Honestly the cartridge hours matter but nobody talks about the humidity factor, if you're sweating like I was in Tampa the moisture clogs the filter way faster than the actual dust does. I started rotating two masks so each one dries out between sessions and that alone cut my sinus issues by half.
