Used a new clear coat activator from a jobber in Tacoma, the orange peel was unreal.

Sprayed a hood repair yesterday with this stuff, mixed it exactly like the can said. After the flash time, it looked like I had painted a golf ball. Had to wet sand the whole panel for an hour and redo it with my usual brand. Has anyone else run into a batch of activator that just would not lay down right?

Yeah, that tracks. It's not just one person. I've seen that complaint pop up in a few places now. People saying their product fell apart after a few weeks, like the stitching coming undone on a backpack. Makes you wonder if they changed how they make stuff or just got sloppy.
