A customer in Phoenix told me my 3/8 drive impact was 'cute' for suspension work. Switched to a 1/2 inch Milwaukee and haven't looked back.

Man, that's backwards. The 3/8 is the secret weapon. My stubby impact gets into places a big 1/2 gun just can't. Think upper control arm bolts tucked behind the strut tower. The smaller head and shorter length makes all the difference. You use the big gun for the big nuts, but the 3/8 does the tricky stuff.

Exactly! It's like some guys think the only tool worth having is the biggest one in the box. They've never tried to get a fat impact onto a pinch bolt in a wheel well. My 3/8 stubby is my most used gun by far, it just gets the job done without the fight. The right tool saves your knuckles and your sanity.

That "cute" comment is the same energy as people who think a bigger tool always means a better job. Leo_fisher gets it, the right tool for the space you're in. I see this everywhere, like someone using a huge knife to chop one clove of garlic. You just end up making more work for yourself. The 3/8 drive is for finesse, not for show.
