Switched from impact guns to hand ratchets for interior trim work and my knuckles thank me
I used to just blast away at door panel screws with my Milwaukee impact and kept breaking clips or stripping plastic. About 6 months ago I started using a simple Craftsman ratchet with a short extension instead and it takes maybe 30 seconds longer per panel but I haven't cracked a single clip since. Anyone else ditch power tools for certain jobs or am I just getting old?

Yeah pretty much. I busted a door clip on a customer's Lexus two years ago using an impact and that was the last straw. Hand tools only for anything plastic or interior now. @taylor.sean probably knows that feeling where your knuckles bleed and you just accept it as part of the job. Funny how we all learn the same lesson the hard way.
