Why does nobody talk about how much scan tools changed the job
Three years ago at a shop in Reno I watched a guy spend 40 minutes chasing a misfire with a paper clip and a test light, and last week I plugged in a $30 adapter and had the cylinder number in about a minute. Half the old tricks I learned are dead now, but the electrical gremlins still need a human to think them through. What is one old trick you still reach for even with a scanner in your hand?
