Appreciation post: I did not believe a broker could move my truck from Phoenix to Denver in 2 days
I had to get my old F-150 from Phoenix up to Denver after my dad passed, and two places quoted me 10 to 14 days with a big deposit up front. One broker said he could do it in 2 days for $850, and I figured that was a line to get my card number. He called me back 20 minutes later with a driver already headed north on I-17, and the truck was in my driveway in Denver 41 hours later with no extra fees. I got a photo of the odometer and a signed bill of lading before he even asked for payment. It made a rough week way easier, honestly. Now I'm wondering what red flags other people watch for with brokers, since I clearly went in expecting the worst.
