Booking a transport from Phoenix to Boise cost me 11 days of back and forth over one stupid signature
I picked a broker back in March to move my truck from Phoenix to Boise and the whole deal got stuck because the pickup address on the bill of lading had my shop's name instead of my name. The dispatcher kept bouncing it back saying the gate code didn't match the shipper record, so I called the terminal in Phoenix 4 times and got a different answer each call. It was 11 days from my first quote request to the driver actually rolling up, and 7 of those days were just fixing paperwork that should've taken one email. Does anyone have a broker who actually double checks the pickup info before the truck gets assigned? Next time I'd rather pay a bit more than sit on hold over a typo.

11 days and 7 of them on a paperwork typo is annoying for sure, but is it really that serious? You still got the truck moved and nobody wrecked anything. As for a broker who double checks the pickup info, good luck, most of them barely read the forms the first time. Paying more won't fix a dispatcher who gets the gate code wrong four calls in a row either. Honestly the lesson here might be to get the bill of lading right on your end before it ever hits their desk.
