Can we talk about the $150 deposit I got back after shipping my car from Phoenix to Seattle?
Three weeks ago I booked a transport for my Honda from Phoenix to Seattle and the broker quoted me $950, then the actual driver showed up asking for $1,100 cash at pickup. I called the broker back and they said the original quote was just an estimate, which felt like a bait and switch, but I paid it since my car was already on the truck. Has anyone else had a broker quote change on them at the last minute, and did you get any of it back?

Man, I always figured brokers were legit but hearing this totally changed my view.
