DAE notice people keep calling a broker a carrier and then act shocked at the pickup window?
Booked a move from Denver to Tucson last month and the guy on the phone kept saying "our trucks" until I asked for his MC number and he went quiet for a solid 10 seconds. A broker is just a middleman matching you with a carrier, so when someone promises a firm pickup date before they have a truck assigned, that date is a guess dressed up as a plan. My driver texted from a Love's outside Pueblo with an actual 2 hour window while the other quote never named a single carrier. How do you all vet who you're really talking to before handing over a deposit?
