I tried shipping a car with a same-day pickup promise and it showed up in Phoenix 9 days late
I had a guy swear he could get my Civic from Denver to Phoenix in 2 days flat, and I believed him because the price was $150 cheaper than the next quote. Turned out he was just a broker who hadn't even lined up a driver yet, so the car sat in a lot for almost a week before anyone touched it. Nine days later it finally rolled in with a dead battery and a nice new scratch on the rear bumper, and suddenly that $150 savings felt pretty silly. Has anyone actually had a same-day pickup quote hold up, or is that just bait to get you on the phone?
