Showerthought: the dispatcher in Cheyenne fixed my pickup with one question
I had a car lined up for pickup in Cheyenne last month and the driver kept pushing the window back, so I called the dispatcher at 4pm on a Friday ready to cancel. She asked one thing, whether the car rolled and if it had a dead battery, and then told me the driver was pairing it with another dead car so he only needed one jump. Turns out that was the whole hold up and it got picked up Saturday morning for the price I was quoted, no extra fee. My mistake was assuming the worst instead of just asking what was going on. How often do you all call the dispatcher directly instead of waiting on the driver?
