The dispatcher in Ohio who saved me $400 on my move from Phoenix
I moved from Phoenix to Columbus back in March and got quotes all over the place, some as high as $1,800. One dispatcher named Dee spent 20 minutes on the phone with me and pointed out that my quoted pickup window was during a big car show weekend, which was why the price was jacked up. She told me to book the Tuesday after and it dropped to $1,400 with the same carrier. That one call taught me more about how these brokers price things than any review site did. Has anyone else had a dispatcher actually talk them out of a higher price like that?
