Chat with a veteran avionics tech about pin cleaning changed my mind
Was griping about intermittent faults on a 737NG and this guy with 30 years in said I should spend more time cleaning connector pins instead of swapping boxes. Has anyone else found that old-school approach beats chasing LRUs?

Nah, swapping boxes is way faster. Dirty pins are rare.

Hell yeah, same here. I always swap boxes, never had an issue.

Man, @casey682 dirty pins are a real thing though, you ever had one mess up a deck?
