Comparing two probe testers proved I was wasting 2 hours a week

I kept using the old analog meter on 737 harnesses because that's what my lead told me to grab, but after borrowing a digital one from the guy on C shift for a week, the difference was night and day. The digital one caught an intermittent ground fault that I'd checked twice with the analog, and that single snag paid for the switch in one shift alone. Has anyone else made a similar jump and found their troubleshooting time actually cut in half?

Wait, why did the analog take two passes to miss what the digital caught in one? The digital meter's live waveform view (or whatever yours shows) makes those ghost faults pop out way quicker. Once you see that difference, the old tool honestly just becomes a paperweight.
