Fought a bad wiring diagram for 3 days on a King Air 350

Last month I was tracing a faulty autopilot servo on a King Air 350. The damn schematic showed pin 4 going to the pitch servo. But the actual wiring harness had it on pin 6. Took me three days and a call to the manufacturer to figure out they updated the harness and never updated the manual. Has anyone else dealt with outdated diagrams that don't match the real plane?

Started color coding every wire connection with a sharpie before following the diagram.

Starts making everything hyper specific and suddenly you can't get anything done without the system being right. It's funny how organizing one little thing snowballs into controlling every detail of your life.
