I used to skip pin checks until a 30 second test saved me $2k
For years I trusted the printed wiring diagrams on older Airbus units and never verified continuity before install. Last month a CRM module came back DOA after a flight, and the fault trace showed a pin 23 that had pulled back inside the connector. A 10 minute bench check would have caught it, so now I run a simple resistance sweep on every harness before it goes in the rack. Has anyone else had a similar close call that turned them into a pin-by-pin believer?
